www.baybiklawgroup.com If you’ve been detained or stopped and put in removal proceedings or deportation proceedings I would absolutely recommend calling an immigration attorney or calling a relative and having them call an immigration attorney as soon as possible. It’s really imperative because in these types of cases, time is really of the essence. Because if you don’t get to an attorney in time, they could easily deport you without you even having access to an immigration attorney because the rights in that particular area of the law are not as extensive as we would wish. So the best thing is to contact an immigration attorney, see what your possible defenses are, if they can get you before the judge to get you out on bond so that you can be with your family while the proceedings are going on.
